These Word: A Book of Poems is a 50-page chapbook of eclectic, modern poetry that connects with each reader’s personal emotional experiences. These poems, offering a fresh perspective on universal themes, are sometimes dark, while others are hopeful and full of healing. Stacy’s poetry is thoughtful, yet raw and unapologetic, including themes of depression, love, grief, and hope. Stacy started writing over thirty years ago, as an outlet for her emotions. Writing has been both my therapist and my best friend, especially on particularly difficult days. Sitting down with pen and paper brings me comfort. It’s like visiting with a trusted friend. By publishing my work, I hope that the reader feels that they are not alone.
