I never knew there would be a time in my life where I went to bed every single night praying that my mother would just die. For three years she battled a war against ALS.For nearly two of those three years, she came to live with me and my family. Being a caregiver to someone you love i snot for the faint of heart. The turbulence of emotions, frustrations, and exhaustions are all enough to evoke the sense of regret in choosing to take care of someone. This is a memoir of my caregiving journey taking care of my mother with ALS. This is my journey.
