Puzzles are presented using a limited colour palette and infographic-style design. Mathematical content is split into four topical chapters – Numbers, Measurements, Shapes and Statistics – with each chapter following the KS2 curriculum (for ages 7–9) and featuring a new set of themed animal characters. Each activity works as a standalone piece, so the reader can dip in and out as they choose.

Biographical note:
Kirstin Swanson is an Assistant Head Teacher based in the UK. Kirstin is an experienced educational consultant. Her consultancy work for Buster Books includes the Mathsketeers series, Clever Kids series, Sherlock Bones series and 365 Words Every Kid Should Know. She also co-authored Sherlock Bones and the Addition and Subtraction Adventure for Buster Books.
